ACFT Calculator: Qualify The Army Fitness Test!
Are you ready to pass the US ACFT(Army Combat Fitness) test to serve your country as a soldier? With an ACFT calculator, you can do that sitting at your home, without going to any army clubs. Our ACFT score checking Tool is set on the latest and recent ACFT scoring standards that you can check your score against. It’s an easy-to-use tool that is created for both males and females of different ages.
Since there are 6 events in the ACFT test that they announced recently, you only need to enter the results that you got participating in these events. Like your deadlift, standing power throw, hand-release push-ups, sprint-drag-carry, leg tuck, and 2-mile run. Based on that, the tool will give you a score out of 600.
This tool gives you an event-based score and also tells you if you meet the MOS-Specific Requirement of AFCT. Let’s learn more about the tool, how to get the most out of it, and what ACFT standards you need to meet.
Understanding The Army Combat Fitness Test (ACFT)
The ACFT is the upgraded version of the old and the first test that was launched back in 2019, called APFT(Army Physical Fitness Test). The purpose of this test was to ensure that whatever soldiers, either the new or the existing ones, were physically strong enough to be in the army.
This old version of the test was good, but it had very few events, such as push-ups, sit-ups, and a 2-mile run. Most of the soldiers would pass that out, but they’d have difficulty when faced with any more difficult challenges.
Then, in 2020, the ACFT replaced the APFT test, which included more parameters to ensure that the strength of the soldiers was properly tested. It now includes a total 6 parameters including:
ACFT 6 Events That You Need To Pass
These are the 6 Events in the ACFT test that you participate in.
Three-Repetition Maximum Deadlift (MDL)
The first test isn’t the hardest, but it is the one that tests your whole body, including your core, grip, and even the lower body. You need to lift the heaviest weight, like 60 pounds, in three repetitions properly. This exercise is to check how heavy things you can lift, as it’s sometimes necessary in combat.
Standing Power Throw (SPT)
In SPT, the participant needs to show how much power you can generate and use that to fight against the enemy. In this test, your enemy is a heavy 10-pound medicine ball that you throw overhead backward.
Hand-Release Push-Up (HRP)
After the power checking, the next event comes to test your core stability and body endurance. You need to hit pushups in it within the time of 2 minutes only, as many as you can. The more you do, the better your scoring.
Sprint / Drag / Carry (SDC)
The SDC tests your endurance, agility, and power by having you complete five 50-meter shuttles. You’ll sprint, drag a sled, move laterally, and carry kettlebells, all while maintaining speed and intensity.
Plank (PLK)
The 5th one is the Plank(PLK), in which you need to stand in the Plank Position for as long as you can. With this exercise, the recruiter gets to know whether you can handle the balance and the posture during the challenging combat tasks and activities.
Two-Mile Run (2MR)
Time to run a little and show how strong your legs are. You run 2 miles on a flat course where you get a limited time to complete the miles. The less time you take and the faster you run, the better score you get.
Alternate Aerobic Events
It’s okay if you have any medical conditions and you can’t complete those difficult training to pass. ACFT has twisted the events for you to make it easier for you to participate in the test and perform better. Like, for you only, there’s only:
- 2.5-mile walk
- 1 km swim
- 5 km row
- 12 km stationary bike ride
ACFT Standards and Scoring
ACFT has kept 100 scores for each event, which makes the total 600 for the 6. The minimum to pass the test is at least 60 points. How many points you must take to qualify for the job depends on the rank you’re applying for. Like:
MOS-Specific Requirements:
- 70 points for any skills that are physically demanding.
- 65 points for significant physically demanding jobs.
- 60 points for moderate physically demanding units.

What Happens If You Fail The ACFT Test?
If you fail the test, then you always have the option to retake it until you fail it again twice, one after the other. If you do that, you may get suspended or separated from the Army. This makes it a MUST for you to pass the test if you’re thinking of going ahead and attaining a higher rank.
This is what our ACFT Calculator helps you do. It’s like you have a professional trainer over your head who you can always go to and check if you’re ready to pass the test. How to use this calculator to check your scores? Let’s find out.
How To Use the ACFT Calculator?
Follow this step-by-step guide to use ACFT Calculator to check if you meet ACFT standards.
Test Yourself:
You need to have the results of all the events that you’re going to participate in. Don’t worry; you don’t need to go to any club to perform those tests. You can do that at your home on your own and then see how well you perform. Get the results ready for the following events of AFCT:
Deadlift
Standing Power Throw
Hand-Release Push-Up
Sprint / Drag / Carry
Plank
Two-Mile Run
Got the results? Also, get your gender and age as our ACFT Point Calculator will test your scores based on these factors.
Put In your Details
Now you can see the ACFT calculator at the top, go to that. And then there, select your:
Age
Gender
If you went through the table of the scoring system of ACFT based on gender and age, you must know these two things matter.
Enter Your Event Results
Now it’s when your results come in handy.
Deadlift: Just put in how much weight you lifted for up to 3 maximum repetitions.
Standing Power Throw: Put how far you threw the ball during the test. You can enter the distance.
Hand-Release Push-Ups: How many push-ups could you do in 2 minutes? Put that in.
Sprint / Drag / Carry: Enter your time for completing the 5 shuttles.
Plank: How long could you plank for with full form? Mention the time.
Two-Mile Run: How many miles you could run, mention that.
Review Your Scores
We’d recommend checking out the details you put in so that you may not get the wrong results. Then, you can simply click on “Calculate”. This Army Fitness Test Scoring will evaluate your score and then compare it with the standard one. It will also check if you even meet the minimum requirements of any job.
Just after some seconds, you’ll have your score in front of you that you got out of 600.
Understand Your MOS Requirement
Now, check if you got as many scores as required for your job. If you did, Great JOB. If you didn’t, check the events for which you got fewer scores. Our ACFT Performance Calculator offers you event-based scores, so it’s quite easy for you to know what are the weaknesses that you need to work on.
If you’re an incredible fit and you exceed the score, then you can also consider looking for better ranks and dropping the one you’ve thought of.
Use the Results for Planning
You’ve got your results now. If you didn’t perform well, just make a list of the events you didn’t get good scores for. And then do your best to prepare for them.
Boost Your ACFT Scores Today
Along the way, you can keep coming back to this Army Combat Fitness Test Scoring Tool and checking your progress. Also, just for motivation, have the previous scores with you so that you can see how well you’re progressing.
So you see how beneficial and life-changing the ACFT calculator can be for you. It can literally help you improve your scores and finally pass the test with higher scores and then get the position you’ve always dreamed of.
